Reunion (FFXIV)

Fanart for Final Fantasy 14's 2019 expansion "ShadowBringers" featuring one of my characters (left) with one of the NPC/characters from the game. *Context:* Hooded man is a very old friend who sealed himself away in a tower in order to protect the people he cares about (more or less), and you meet him again years later moments before you're about to die. The actual story in detail (in Shadowbringers) is quite complicated though to really summarize (without spoilers/confusion), but it's amazing-- full of heartbreak and moral conflict and is honestly one of the best games/stories I've ever experienced.

So last year was when I started taking art more serious, and over the last 10 or so months I've been experimenting with various art styles and methods. Seeking art that inspires me and then trying to replicate styles but in my own way-- it's been a long and frustrating journey but one I certainly enjoyed. I still have a long ways to go with learning, but I'm really proud of how far I've come!
